Introducing ‘African Journal of History and Culture (AJHC)’
The African Journal of History and Culture (AJHC) publishes high-quality solicited and unsolicited articles, in all areas of the subject. All articles published in (AJHC) will be peer-reviewed. The following types of papers are considered for publication:
- Original articles in basic and applied research.
- Critical reviews, surveys, opinions, commentaries and essays.
Our objective is to inform authors of the decision on their manuscript(s) within four weeks of submission. Following acceptance, a paper will normally be published in the next issue.

| The Excellence in Child Mental Health conference will take place 1-3 December 2011 in Istanbul Turkey and it is a top-class meeting enabling specialists in child mental health to stay ahead in their field, presenting cutting edge findings and an authoritative overview of key developments in child mental health. The Scientific Advisory Board and the International Scientific Committee (Prof Prabhat Sitholey is a member of) is currently preparing to involve high quality speakers across three themes disorders, interventions and services.
